CDI is a leading provider of professional consulting services. CDI provides high-level
program management, engineering, naval architecture and IT services to Government Agencies
and major defense contractors and shipbuilders. CDI is working with its clients to provide
expertise in ship modernization and maintenance, material and system assessment and readiness,
technology and process insertion, software development, data management, strategic planning
and process development.
CDI Program Managers, Engineers and Analysts provide oversight and analysis of complex
programs, systems, platforms and equipment, providing program management support, quality
assurance and control, trouble shooting, inspection, verification and validation, compliance
and system and process certification, financial and cost monitoring and assessment, data
inspection and management, and computer programming and application development. CDI personnel
work in a totally integrated fashion with our clients in their facilities and provide specific
technical expertise and management support from CDI facilities located nation-wide. CDI
supports a number of NAVSEA Program Offices and Department of Homeland Security, Acquisition
Program Offices providing management and engineering expertise and technical oversight of various
Program Office Business Initiatives and ship and boat acquisition efforts. CDI also supports a
number of major Defense Contractors and Federal, State and Local Government Agencies in support
of the design, acquisition and construction of ships and boats. These projects have required
CDI to review contract deliverables, serve as a source selection agent for vendor selection
and service as an owners representative during construction. CDI also prepares statements of
work and performance specifications, performs trade-off studies, prepares proposals and serves
as an expert witness.
